As the Hyperdimension Neptunia series continues to grow in popularity, it was always going to be a matter of time before the other goddesses were going to get their chance in the spotlight. Which brings us to Hyperdevotion Noire. A strategy RPG from Sting gives the release a surprise variety to the main series as it joins the ranks of other spin offs trying new genres. Does this fare well compared to the stalwarts of this sub genre? Let's have a peek..

French Bread studios have banded together to develop the game you’ve always
wanted, Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax.

Review : Magical Beat (PSVita)
Does it beat the competition or is it just tone deaf?
Magical Beat for Vita by Arc System Works is a rhythm based falling blocks puzzler with a fighting twist, taking its cues from games such as Tetris, Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo and Lumines. Sadly for this title it never really seems to match up with the quality of its predecessors or the scope of its vision.

Note: This is a re-run of my previous review of the Japanese version of Under Night In Birth Exe: Late from Sept 2014. The only difference between the Japanese version released around then and the EU version available now is the addition of English text and voice acting, and as such the review still stands as it originally did.
What makes a good fighting game?
What makes a good fighting game?
Opinions
on this will vary. Some people say a colourful cast of characters. Some might
say a variety of features such as a full story mode or even a Streets of Rage inspired affair. Perhaps a plethora of unlockables, concept art and other goodies?
