New screenshots Girls und Panzer & Info ! PANZER VOR

Namco Bandia released some information and screenshots about the title Girls und Panzer: Master the tank road. For the people who don't know Girls und Panzer I have a short description about the story below.

Girls und panzer is about a girl named Miho Nishizumi. She is part of a famous lineage of tankers well known for their Nishizumi style. She has disgraced her families name by abandoning her position in order to save her drowning team mate, leading to her teams defeat ( In Japan riding a Panzer and fighting each other is a national sport). Shaken by the whole experience Miho wishes to never to compete in the art of Panzer. As result she transfered to a school uninvolved in the sports. However, for some reason the art of Panzer is revived an Miho was forced to be the tank commander. Girls und panzer is one of my favorite shoujo/military anime.

The information shared by Namco bandia and translated by Gematsu gives us some more information about the story mode.

The story mode follows the plot of the TV anime ( Yes, avid fan here). These includes the battles against St.Gloriana Girls High school, Pravda Girls High School and Kuromorimine Girls High school.

In Battle Royale mode, over 30 tanks can participate and players can form their own teams. WOW, pinch me because i feel like i'm dreaming. Every bit of news sounds fantastic.

Below their are some new released screenshots. Panzer und Girls will be released on the 26th of June ( My birthday, this must be a sign)

Deception IV: The blood ties lands on Vita and PS3 In Europe on the 28th of March

The official twitter of Tecmo Koei Europe has just announced that Deception IV: The blood ties will be released in Europe on the 28th of March.

Deception IV: The blood ties is a very interesting title. The game is developed by the same director that did Fatal Frame. In Deception IV you are controlling a game named Regrina, who is said to be the daughter of the devil. Her goal is to find the 12 descendants of the twelve saints who sealed here father. You will visit each one of those descendants. In the game instead of using weapons like guns or swords you will be using magic traps in order to eliminate your target.

In the video below you can see some footage of the game.

For people who don't know Tecmo Koei is on a killingspree. They are becoming one of my favourite developers thanks to their support for the Playstation vita. They are releasing Toukiden age of demons 14th of February and now this!.  I never played a deception game but colour me interested.

Hatsune Miku store opens in Tokyo

Not exactly game news, but you know me, any excuse to post Hatsune Miku content!

It seems that the popularity of Hatsune Miku continues to grow, and with it we now have this. A Miku shop entitled "Miku Wing Shop". The store will only be open for a limited time at Haneda Airport in Tokyo, so those like myself hoping that we would start seeing these on the high street will be left a little distraught. A statue of Hatsune Miku stands in the middle of the store, proudly overseeing the patrons that would be entering the store. Still, even if the store is only open for a limited time its quite a sight to see so much merchandise under one roof!

Anyone hoping to grab some merchandise before the store closes? Possibly visiting Tokyo soon? Be sure to grab yourself some goodies!

Wonderful 102 may include Mii's!?

The Wonderful 101 director Hideki Kamiya is hoping that Platinum Games will be get the chance at some point to develop a sequel to the W101. On Twitter, one of the ideas he’d like to include in a potential sequel was mentioned when quizzed by a fan -

“We tried to make it possible to join your own mii with TW101 as a hero,” Kamiya tweeted. “We hope we can do it in TW102.”

Kamiya also stated on Twitter that he hopes to be able direct a sequel to the game himself, as the reigns for the  Bayonetta follow up on WiiU was passed to another director. A sequel to The Wonderful 101 hasn’t actually been announced yet though.

New Dark Souls 2 footage

New footage of Dark Souls II that shows Draglake and some of the bosses that are part of the kingdom had sprung up online earlier. You play as one of the Cursed in Dark Souls II and when you die in this game you turn to the undead. Fascinating? Being a member of the undead has its drawbacks in Dark Souls II though like capping your HP gauge and changing your character’s appearance so it may not be a good thing afterall!

Dark Souls II is due on Ps3/Xbox360 on March 11th in the states & March 14th in the EU. Still no word as far as Im aware on the delayed PC port. Are you prepared?

PS4/PS Vita Japanese inspired horror game Kodoku shows it's scary face

A studio called Carnivore studio just released some screenshots/trailer  for it's upcoming game Kodoku.
The title is heavily inspired by Japanese and imaginary. The game is described as an horror exploration game.

What is interesting about the title is that you can't fight enemies in a regular way with a weapon but with magic, stealth and diversions. As your vita editor this sounds very interesting. It sounds like something like the PC game Amnesia: the dark descent and that game is totally up my alley.

Scary huh? It has given me goose bumps. There are some more screenshots below this trailer.

The screen show some pretty gruesome views. As a horror fan i'm looking forward to this game. Putting my headphones and feel the tension.. What's your thought about this game?! Feel free to comment your idea's below in the comment section.

Kenichiro Takaki talks Dekamori Senran Kagura

The surprising announcement of a cooking rhythm game spin-off for the Senran Kagura series announcement surprised many. Due for release on the 20th March, with it being a downloadable only title it may make its way west so its worth keeping an eye on (especially if Burst on the 3DS does well enough) Famitsu recently caught up with series producer Kenichiro Takaki for an interview on the quirky title

Famitsu begins by asking why it was decided to make it a download-only title for PlayStation Vita:
This will be part of the challenging plan of creating our first spin-off title. So rather than starting off with a physical version and selling it at a high price, we decided to sell it a price where it can be purchased in a lighthearted manner,” explains Takaki. “Since we’re holding down the price, I believe that some people who are thinking ‘maybe I should try it out,’ will have a higher chance of doing so, which is one of the possibilities I want to make happen.”

Next, Famitsu asks about the reason  a cooking theme was decided upon for Dekamori Senran Kagura:
I believe that mankind’s three major desires come from sex, appetite and sleep, and we’ve covered plenty of the first part, so I think that next would be appetite. That way we can cover both sex and appetite desires at once,” shares Takaki with a laugh.

Famitsu then asks how the rhythm genre came into play:
In terms of gameplay and storytelling, I just wanted to have something that can be played lightheartedly,” responds Takaki. “Instead of having something that requires complicated controls, having cute girls cooking while occasionally being seen in naughty situations would need a system that would allow you to watch it leisurely. We thought that a rhythm game would suit it best. Food, music and erotica.

Famitsu curiously asks what kind of music one can expect:
We’ve prepared a total of 22 new tracks,” says Takaki. “Out of that, there are six songs that were specially picked up for the occasion. They’re all good songs; some are silly while others are cool, and they were chosen to fit the image of the characters.

Additionally, Takaki also mentioned that purchased DLC for Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versusi will be transferable to Dekamori Senran Kagura, so gamers won’t have to worry about having to repurchase them again.

And finally, the series producer says that there will be “costume destruction,” as it wouldn’t be a Senran Kagura game without the feature. According to Takaki, it’ll happen to the character with fewer cooking points, and if you’re wondering how much destruction, it’ll be similar to that of Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus.

Re you looking forward to an import? Hopeful of a localisation maybe?

Monster Monpiece..in English!?

It seems someone at Idea Factory got a little careless the other day, as Gematsu reported. A few screenshots of Monster Monpiece managed to make there way onto Idea Factory International's official website. Whats odd about that? Well that website if for the newly opened office in the US & the screenshots also happened to be in English! Could it be the recently opened buildings first foray into localising a title for our shores? Who knows, but the images are all marked with a 2014 date and the title has apparently recently received a PEGI rating. All we are awaiting now is confirmation!

Nippon Ichi's latest project teased.

Nippon Ichi's latest project has sprung up and has been, surpsingly, mentioned as an adventure game. Entitled If You Thought It Was Harem Paradise, It Was Yandere Hell, Dengeki revealed an april 24th release date for the Ps3 in Japan. Not been able to find much more information on the game so its one we will have to wait and see about. With Nippon Ichi's titles usually making there way west courtesy of NISa, its one to keep an eye on.

Inazuma Eleven 3: Ogre Trailer

Hot on the heels of the US news, Europe have been given a trailer for Inazuma Eleven 3: Ogre.

For those less versed in Inazuma, Ogre is an enhanced version of Inazuma 3 Lighting/Bomb. It has several new players & a choice of players from both L&B. It also features a slightly different storyline with extra scenes and a team that appeared in the movie!.

It's fantastic to see a steadier stream of everyone's favourite football RPG & I for one cannot wait!

So everybody "Stand Up, Stand Up if you love football!"
