News: Quick Roundup of the Latest Nintendo Direct


Heres a quick roundup of some of the announcements made during Nintendo's latest direct:


  • A new Fire Emblem is heading to 3DS, titled Fire Emblem If in Japan. An announcement trailer is available [Here]
  • Puzzle & Dragons Z and Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition are both making their way to North America and Europe as a single package during May this year. Announcement Trailer available [Here]
  • A new Pokemon game was announced in Pokemon Shuffle, a new free-to-play puzzle game for 3DS.
  • Nintendo will be making Wii titles available to download for the WiiU, starting with Super Mario Galaxy 2 today, Punch-Out on January 22th and Metroid Prime Trilogy on January 29th.
  • Mario Party 10 will launch for Wii U on March 20 in North America alongside a new set of amiibo figures, which will include  new Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Bowser, and Toad Amiibos. Super Smash Bros. Amiibo's are compatible, but you will have to erase the data you already have saved to it. Trailer avialable [Here]
  • Bandai Namco’s Katsuhiro Harada is working on a new free-to-play project which will be a downloadable game for the Wii U currently titled Project Treasure.
  • A new Xenoblade Chronicles X trailer titled 'Exploration' was shown, available [Here]
  • New 3DS will launch in North America and Europe on February 13th, and will be bundled with a 4GB micro-sd card but a power adapter won't be included. New system trailer [Here]
  • Ace Combat: Assault Horizon New Legacy+ is heading west on February 13th to coincide with the launch of the New 3DS as it utilises numerous features found on the updated handheld. A debut trailer is avilable [Here]
  • Xenoblade Chronicles 3D, a port of the Wii release, will launch exclusively for New 3DS in North America during April and in Europe on April 2nd.
  • The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D will launch for 3DS on February 13th in the west, and will make use of some features of the New 3DS ie full 3D camera movement using the C stick. A new trailer is available [Here]
