Review: Phantom Breakers: Battle Grounds (Vita/PC)

Out With the New, In With the Old

[EU Review copy supplied by 5pb]

Updated 23/01/2015. Steam review, find it before the score!.

Brawlers have always been one of the corner stones of the arcade.  You and friends probably spent many pennies and many hours trying to get past that one level and it is no surprise that they were ported over to the home consoles.  Over the generations we have been treated to many good brawlers and the one thing that has always stood out with them is that they can get really hard really quickly and it did not matter if you were going solo or playing with friends.  For me, brawlers are the definition of 'Old School'.

Review: Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 2 (PSVita)

The same old song, mark 2.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 2: Sisters Generation is the full title for the Vita exclusive remake of the Playstation 3 title Hyperdimention Neptunia mk2. It has been developed by Felistella and published by Idea Factory International and is part of the ever expanding Hyperdimention series that spans games, anime and manga. Even though it is a remake there are a number of changes that should keep long-time fans coming back and new players wanting more.

Review: Citizens Of Earth (PS4)

The Youth Of The Nation

Citizens of Earth is a curious case, originally put out by Eden Industries in 2013 as a Kickstarter it failed, Atlus then came along and picked up publishing rights for this title obviously seeing something in it. With it's Earthbound style visuals, comedy writing and classic "snes era" rpg gameplay we have been waiting on bated breath for this Rocky story to finish.

Releasing amongst near enough every console at the moment, will this Earthbound style RPG reach the stars or keep it's presidential feet well rooted to the ground?
