Review - Sword Art Online: Lost Song PsVita/PS4 Updated

Lost & FoUND.

Sword Art Online: The Lost Song is the latest title in the SAO franchise to release here in europe and our first physical official game release. Releasing on the Playstation 4 and Playstation Vita. We reviewed the release based on it’s Asian release which featured english subtitles. Below the review are my notes based on my time with the PAL Playstation 4 version.

News: Star Fox Zero Delayed

Star Fox Zero has been delayed until Q1 2016.  The title was originally planned for a November 20th release but has been pushed back because Nintendo need more time to polish it;

News: New Class Details for PVZ:GW2

This is a little outside what we normally report about but this is a game that I am really excited for.  Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 is the sequel to the highly popular multiplayer 3rd person shooter, Garden Warfare.

News: The Witness Release Date

The next game from the creator of Braid has been given a release date.  The Witness will be releasing on the PS4 in Europe and the US on January 26th.

News: Extreme Exorcism Release Date

Less is more - this is how Golden Ruby Games describes their upcoming platformer game, Extreme Exorcism.  This is a game that will pretty much punish you if like to button bash attacks.

TGS2015: Yoru no Nai Kuni Heading to the West

Yoru no Nai Kuni (working title) has had a Western release confrimed.

TGS2015: Samurai Warriors 4: Empires Heading West

Koei Tecmo Europe has announced via Twitter that Samurai Warriors 4: Empires will be released in Europe and North America in Early 2016.

TGS2015: Message from Persona 5 Director

After the news that Persona 5 has been delayed, Director Katsura Hashino has reached out to fans in an interview.

ATLUS have announced that Persona 5 has been delayed until Summer 2016 in Japan.  The potentially could mean that it will not get a Western release until Winter 2016 (but this has not been confirmed)

Capcom have announced that the latest character to be added to Street Fighter is Karin, who first appeared in Street Fighter Alpha 3.

TGS2015: Star Ocean: Second Evolution PSVita/PS4 Port

PSP game, Star Ocean Second Evolution is being ported to PS Vita and PS4.  It has been confirmed that this is not a remake and that there is not release date set in stone but producer Kobayashi has said that it “won’t take too long.”

Koei Tecmo have announced that Hyrule Warriors Legends will be launching on the 3DS in Japan on January 21st.

TGS2015: Ace Attorney Announced

Following on from the Ace Attorney news posted earlier, Capcom have also announced that there will be an Anime series which will start broadcasting in Japan this April.

TGS2015; Moero Crystal Localisation

Sony Asia have announced that Moero Crystal will be localised into English.  The PS Vita game is due out in Japan on September 26th with a Chinese/English version releasing at some point in 2016.

TGS2015; Monster Hunter X Trailer

Capcom have released a new trailer for upcoming 3DS title Monster Hunter X.  The trailer confirms that for the first time play as a Felyne Palico in the game’s new “Nyanter Mode.”

TGS2015: Dark Souls III Release Date for West

Bandai Namco have announced that Dark Souls III will release on the Xbox One, PS4 & PC in April 2016 for Europe and the US.

TGS2015: Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir Trailer

A new trailer has been released for Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir.  The HD remake of the PS2 action role-playing game will release in Japan on January 14th 2016 and at some point in 2016 in the West on the PS3, PS4, and PSVita.

A new trailer has been released for Guilty Gear Xrd Revelations.  Announced earlier this week, this game is an updated version of the already released Guilty Gear Xrd: Sign and is due out in Japan Spring 2016.

TGS2015: Coming Soon....

Starting tomorrow is the Tokyo Game Show.  Running from the 17th to the 22nd, this is when we get chance to see upcoming Japanese games that may (or may not) end up hitting Western shores.
Either way it is exciting times for us here at Otaku Gamers UK.

Welcome to Zombie Vikings - the four player hack and slash adventure game that sees you playing as one of four Zombie Vikings whilst travel through many different worlds set in the Viking era. This is Zoinks Game’s second PS4 title and just like the first (Stick it to the Man), this one is just as wacky.

TGS2015: Pikachu Libre Confirmed for Pokken Tournament

A new trailer has been released by Bandai Namco for its upcoming port of arcade fighter, Pokken Tournament.  This trailer introduces Pikachu Libre, who is a new playable character that has a different move set to the original Pikachu.

TGS2015: New World Vol 1 Announced

Bandai Namco and Cyberconnect2 have teamed up to release a Free To Play 3D RPG for iOS and Android.  New World Vol 1 Maiden of Silver Tears is the first part of a bigger project called Project N.U. and will feature character design by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto.
