“The letter ‘G’ in the title implies it’s compatible with a wide range of platforms, including PlayStation3, Wii U, Xbox 360, and PC. We’re also planning to extend this support to PlayStation Vita,” says Ono. He explains: “The reason why we have increased our support for so many hardware platforms is because we have our sights set on distributing services for this game in the future outside Japan. We simply can’t release a game as it is, but need to adapt all the necessary services to the unique characteristics of each region. In preparation for that, we’ve broadened our scope and started launching individual titles across multiple hardware platforms.”
Something that may be of interest for yourself? I'm not a fan of Monster Hunter myself but it sounds interesting as an MMO
I'm absolutely stoked. It's a good time to be a Monster Hunter fan! MH3U was terrific on Wii U (that game NEEDS online, which is why the Wii U version is vastly superior over the 3DS iteration). Now we've got Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate coming to 3DS next year (with full online), and Monster Hunter Frontier G coming to multiple platforms in the west.
ReplyDeleteAnyone who isn't a Monster Hunter fan, you're missing out on one of THE funnest, THE most addictive games ever conceived. This is the very definition of a legendary franchise. There's a reason people love it so much. Do yourself a favor and buy Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for Wii U- if EVER there were a game to buy a console for, this is it! 600 hours and I'm still gaming strong like I just bought it yesterday. THAT'S a good game for ya.
@Jaxon Holden I agree MH is a lot of fun! Maybe it's something for our Nintendo editor?
