Siliconera spoke with Yosuke Futami, producer of producer for Sword Art Online: Lost Song.
A couple of questions were put to the producer during GameStart Asia 2014 regarding whether the western release would be physical, and also on whether the fans can expect a better translation after what had happened with Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment. Yosuke Futami couldn't give an answer for the first question, but did provide information on the translation:
"Ah, right, the English translations in Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment weren’t that good, huh? Actually, there’s a reason for that, but it’s not something that I can talk about," Futami said to us. "But we’re aware of the root of the problem and what I can say is that this time around with Lost Song, we’re doing things differently. Fans can expect much better translations as the localization process will be handled very differently. Please look forward to it."Source [Siliconera]
"Fans can expect much better translations as the localization process will be handled very differently"...It not that we expect things to be done differently its that we expect them to be done proffesionally. Sigh I hope we get a retail copy this time!
