Ninja Theory have announced their 'independent AAA game' as Hellblade with a CGI trailer.
“Certain types of game are very difficult to make for AAA retail without being watered down or otherwise compromised for a mass audience,” Ninja Theory product development boss Dom Matthews said on the PlayStation Blog. “This is especially true of sword-based combat games or games of a distinctive style or unusual subject matter. We want to make a smaller, more focused game experience that is uncompromising in its combat, art and story, and deliver this digitally at a lower price.”The game looks to be based around Celtic myth & will see you playing as Senua, as she embarks on a journey through a hellish underworld. It sounds interesting, but theres not much information shared so far. Hellblade has also only been announced for Ps4 at the moment, with no word on a release window for the game as of yet.
