News: Persona 3 Movie #1 set for NA

Not too long from now, on May 20th, we will see the release of the English version of Persona 3 the Movie #1: Spring of Birth. Aniplex have released an English trailer for the movie, who are set to be publishing the film in the US, and have also confirmed a collector’s edition release. It must be noted however that there is no English dub for the movie at all, instead we will be treated to a subbed presentation.


The collector’s edition will include the following items:

•     Soundtrack CD (including “More Than One Heart” by Yumi Kawamura)
•     Exclusive box art by Keisuke Watabe (character designer/animation director)
•     Newly illustrated cover art
•     48-page Deluxe Booklet with English translation
•     10 “Super P3 Stickers”
•     4 Key art illustration cards

The collector’s edition will be sold for $99.98, although Aniplex will sell it for $79.98 through there own store. A standard edition will set you back $74.98, but again Aniplex will sell it for $59.98 themselves. Both versions are imports that will hopefully remain region free as per the Bluray standard as no date has been mentioned for the EU yet
