Marvelous AQL filed a trademark for Samurai Jam: Bakumatsu Rock in the USA recently.
While there is an anime in the works for the series, the trademark was reported to be for video games. It seems odd that Marvelous AQL would make an English for the title and then not expect it to be localised. Perhaps Bakumatsu Rock is to be brought over? The Tokugawa Shogunate has been brainwashing people using the Heaven’s Song, but freedom fighters led by a rocker version of Sakamoto Ryoma are fighting back with music, as the story goes. Bakumatsu Rock was released on PSP back in February for Japan, and if this trademark is to be believed, maybe it will be making its way west soon. No confirmation as of yet though.
